Youth Run Coach/Coordinator Volunteers (Part-Time) I Can Do 26.2 Kids seeks a Youth Run Coach/Coordinator (YRC) for our dynamic non-profit organization. Join us in fostering a fun and collaborative environment while working with children aged 4-12. Be part of our premier 6-week summer running program aimed at promoting an active lifestyle and positive well-being in youth and their families. We help our children adopt a “Raise and Move” attitude.
Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate both adult and youth volunteer staff.

Cultivate a passion for youth development and athletics.

Maintain strong organizational skills and punctuality.

Communicate effectively with children and adults.

Flexibility to adapt and improvise when necessary.

Inspire and motivate others to embrace our mission.

Resolve conflicts with empathy and professionalism.

Collaborate with co-coaches and mentor youth volunteers
Requirements:
-
Experience with youth aged 4-12 in academic, athletic, or recreational settings.

Background in running or walking, competitive or recreational.
-
Volunteering experience in direct service organizations.
-
Ability to work inclusively with diverse communities.

Availability on Monday & Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:00 p.m. during the summer season, June 24, 2024, to August 3, 2024.

Pass a background check and hold current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
